These three pine trees were sitting highlighted bu some winter sun with the mountains in the background. The wider view also produced a nice colour image (see below) but I like the B&W version focused more on the trees themselves, what do you think?

Despite being a firm B&W fan, I actually prefer the colour one one this occasion. I think it's because the (rather special) sun picks the trees out more clearly in colour.

Hi Steve, I think I agree in this case because the light was good. Normally at this time I feel it often feels kind of uniform grey.
