At last, after more than a month since my last post I have finally found the time and the inspiration to get out and take some photos. The beautiful autumn colours that are developing, as always, have provided excellent opportunities for good images at Balmacara. This first shot was taken from the front door this morning as was the fuchsia below.
The following shots were taken during the past couple of days from locations around the estate. We really are lucky with the wonderful views and fantastic woodlands, lochs and mountains.
I am an amateur photographer who is also a Chartered Geographer (GIS) with his own part-time consultancy business and I work as an estate manager for a national conservation charity in Scotland. I am based in Lochalsh, Wester Ross, Scotland, just next to the Isle of Skye.
